Morkos Banoub, DVM
Owner & Medical Director
Dr. Morkos Banoub leads the Cirby Ridge Animal Hospital team with a deep commitment to complete, compassionate veterinary care. With years of clinical experience in both general practice and surgical services, Dr. Banoub provides expert care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. His areas of special interest include soft tissue surgery, diagnostics, and preventive medicine.
Since taking ownership of the clinic in April 2025, Dr. Banoub has introduced enhanced services such as in-house laboratory testing, ultrasound diagnostics, and dental radiography, all while honoring the legacy of care that Cirby Ridge has built over the past two decades.
Pet parents appreciate Dr. Banoub’s calm, collaborative approach and his dedication to delivering care that is both thorough and compassionate.

Veterinary Assistant
Hello! I’m Nirmeen Mikhael, a foreign-trained veterinarian deeply committed to preventative veterinary medicine. My career has centered on protecting pets and their families from contagious and zoonotic diseases, and I believe strongly in empowering pet parents with the knowledge they need to keep their companions healthy. I’ve also had the privilege of providing affordable veterinary care to less fortunate families. I’m excited to be pursuing my veterinary license in the U.S., and since April 2025, I’ve been a proud member of the team at Cirby Ridge Animal Hospital. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your beloved pets, offering the best possible care, and continually advancing my medical and technical skills here.

I’ve been working in veterinary medicine since 2023 and officially became licensed in November of 2024. I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, and I genuinely love working with them. I’m always learning something new and do my best to help however I can.

Hi, I’m Christina! I am a licensed RVT, Fear Free Certified, proud San Diego native and single mom of 5 with a deep love for animals. I’m equal parts calm, capable, and caffeinated, with a dry sense of humor that gets me through even the craziest clinic days.
I didn’t grow up planning to be a veterinary technician. For over a decade, my life was about diapers, dinners, and keeping five kids alive and (mostly) on schedule. But when life flipped the script and I became a single mom, I made a choice to go after something for me. I went back to school, graduated valedictorian with perfect attendance, passed my boards, and stepped into the kind of work that finally felt like mine.
What drew me to vet med and what keeps me here is the connection. The chance to not only care for animals but to be a source of calm and clarity for their people, too. I’m Fear Free Certified because I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, and every client deserves to feel supported. Whether it’s a first puppy visit or a hard goodbye, I show up fully with heart, humor, and no judgment.
When I’m not working, I’m outside chasing sunsets, paddleboarding, camping, and raising five smart, kind, slightly feral humans. Life is chaotic, unpredictable, and beautifully messy… kind of like vet med. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant
Hi, I’m Julianna! I joined the Cirby Ridge Animal Hospital team in 2025. This is my first role in a veterinary hospital, and I’m excited to start my journey in animal care. I’ll be working toward becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician, and I’m looking forward to learning every step of the way alongside our team. I love building connections with clients and welcoming every animal that comes through our doors.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family and friends, hiking with my dog, baking, horseback riding, or going to concerts. I look forward to growing in the field and meeting all the pets and people who come through the doors at Cirby Ridge!
